Nightlife in Park City

Park City is more than just amazing ski resorts.  After hitting our world-renowned slopes, you can look forward to an exciting nightlife of fantastic restaurants, pubs, and private clubs.  Here's a brief guide to the happening night spots in Park City.

Park City Nightlife Tips and Secrets

Private clubs all over Park City provide an exciting atmosphere when you're ready for a night on the town.  One local secret to note is that although most places are "private clubs"- this simply means you must pay a cover charge to get inside.  Instead of calling it a cover, it's known as a membership fee.  This fee varies from place to place.  Some are good for a day or several days, and a few allow multiple people to be covered with one "membership".  Memberships range from $4-20 and many clubs offer extended memberships, which may be a good option if you will be staying in Park City for a couple weeks or more.

Near the Slopes

Park City locals take après ski very seriously.  That is why you will find several bar and lounge options just off the slopes.

Deer Valley has a number of options to grab a drink and a snack.  The Snow Park Lounge offers a great deck that is packed in the spring and live entertainment on the weekend.  Snow Park is open daily and serves drinks and appetizers after noon on the weekends and after 2:30 on the weekdays. Another great happening is The Royal Street Cafe located mid-mountain at Silver Lake. Royal Street offers everything from fine wine to tasty appetizers.  There is live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3:30-5:30.

Park City Mountain Resorts and The Canyons also have their fair share of post slopes hot spots.  At Park City you will not be able help notice the large crowed gathered inside and out of The Corner Store Pub & Grill. The Corner Store offers a comforting environment with outside grill, live music, good food and cold beer.

At The Canyons the place to be is Smokies Bar and Grill. A locals' hangout, Smokie's offers the essentials: a pool table, plenty of beers on tap, a full bar and large deck.  Enjoy your delicious BBQ, Cajun specialties, or the basic nachos and wings while sitting on the deck with slope side views of the front face of the resort.

Main Street Pubs and Clubs

Park City's Main Street is a great place to not only find restaurants and shops, but also plenty of entertainment.  The pubs and clubs are all a short walk from one another making it easy to check out all that Park City has to offer.  A good place to start with is The Sidecar.  The Sidecar may be Main Street's newest hangout but it has quickly become a favorite of both locals and visitors.  Depending on the night, entertainment may be a DJ, live band or even open mic night. To top off the lively and hospitable atmosphere of The Sidecar, they also serve some of the best pizza in town!

Located next door to one another you will find three of Park City's most popular hang outs; No Name Saloon, O'Shucks and Harry O's.

At the No Name Saloon you can sit back in front of the fire, play a little shuffleboard and watch your favorite sporting event while having a few beer with some of Park City's most colorful locals. If you find yourself craving the best buffalo burger in town, No Name Saloon is where you will find it!

Next door to No Name Saloon is O'Shucks.  Maybe one of the smaller bars you will find but that is what gives it that warm and cozy feeling.  Two words to describe O'Shucks are beer and peanuts.  There are 18 beers available on tap and all the peanuts you can ask for.  And don't worry about throwing away all those peanut shells; just throw them on the floor! O'Shucks also offers pool, video games, and a traditional bar menu.

Last and certainly not least is Harry O's. Here locals and visitors go for the phenomenal live-music lineup and swinging singles scene. The nights that live music is not performed, Harry O's provides tunes from some of the best DJ's around.  Don't forget your dance shoes because here you will find the largest dance floor in town! Although there's no official dress code, make sure you dress to impress.
