When the snow melts, Park City's beautiful summer season comes alive with endless adventure. Here are a few ideas for your Park City vacation during the Spring, Summer and Fall months:

Biking

Park City offers some of the best mountain biking and road cycling in the country. Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons all provide lift service in the summer months, with 325+ miles of single- and double-track public trails to enjoy. Park City has something for every cyclist, ranging from mellow, scenic rides to adrenaline-raising thrills on steeper terrain. Horseback Riding

When you visit Park City it's time to leave your cares, and your car, behind. Experience the scenic surroundings on horseback with a ride up the mountains and down into the valleys, through the aspen tress and lush underbrush. Fly Fishing

Summer Camps

Park City and the Salt Lake Valley offer several summer camps for kids. While spending your summer vacation in Park City, keeps the kids having fun at any of the following camps:

Deer Valley's Summer Adventure Camp provides nurturing care and summer fun for children two months to 12 years of age. The camp offers creative and challenging activities to ensure campers have fun while learning. Deer Valley's Summer Adventure Camp is based out of Snow Park Lodge, which is surrounded by Park City's incredible mountains with hiking trails, hillside playgrounds and duck ponds.

Park City Golf Camp offers clinic-style camps to children ages 7-12. The camp takes place at the beautiful Park City Golf Club in the heart of Park City. Golfers will learn about safety, grip, stance, putting, chipping, full swing, course etiquette and rules.

The Utah Museum of Natural History offers summer camp programs for children in kindergarten through ninth grade. Each week features a new program such as "Science Chef," "Utah Time Travelers" and "Budding Botanists."

The Kimball Art Center provides art classes throughout the summer for artists, or aspiring artists, of all ages. Kids are offered classes in everything from clay sculpting to jewelry while adult courses include digital photography and pottery.

Outdoor Concerts

Park City is filled with music during the summer months. The town's several outdoor concerts are a perfect evening event for the whole family. Bring your picnic baskets and blankets and get ready for a fabulous time. Local artists perform at Deer Valley Resort every Wednesday evening and at The Canyons every Saturday evening. Deer Valley Resort also hosts the Utah Symphony & Opera's Deer Valley Music Festival and the Park City Jazz Festival. Hiking

The Park City area is filled with scenic hiking trails. Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons all provided lift service in the summer offering easier access to more secluded trails. Hiking offers an up-close-and-personal view of the area's beauty, and maybe even some of its wildlife. Park City Mtn. Resort

Park City Mountain Resort does not end the fun when the snow melts. The resort has activities and rides for the whole family. Trill seekers will enjoy the Alpine Coaster that will send you cruising down the mountain at speeds up to 30mph or the Alpine Slide which is one of the worlds longest at 3,000 ft. Slower paced activities include miniature golf, the human maze and the Little Miners Park.

Rafting

A Park City rafting trip is a great way to beat the Utah heat and relax with your friends and family. All Seasons Adventures specialize in whitewater rafting on the class II rapids of the Weber River and the class I rapids of the Provo River. Park City's rafting gives you the opportunity to bask in the sun, take in breathtaking scenery, search for wildlife and get some exercise as you help your guide paddle through the more technical sections of the river. All Seasons Adventures offer half day tours with or without lunch.
